STIF SYENTRA Holds Its 4th Graduation Ceremony
Serang – A vibrant and joyful atmosphere filled the Sheikh Nawawi Tanara College of Islamic Jurisprudence (STIF SYENTRA) as it held its 4th graduation ceremony at Hotel Le Dian Serang on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
The event was attended by distinguished guests including representatives from Kopertais Region I DKI Jakarta and Banten, senior professors from UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin, representatives from Bank Muamalat, and several prominent figures from Islamic boarding schools.
“STIF SYENTRA continues to strengthen its commitment to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education by collaborating with various institutions both domestically and internationally — including Islamic boarding schools, formal schools, financial institutions, and technology organizations,” said Hj. Siti Haniatunnisa, LLB., M.H., CRGP, Chairperson of STIF SYENTRA, in her opening remarks.
During the event, Prof. Dr. Sururin, M.Ag., Deputy Coordinator of Kopertais Region I DKI Jakarta and Banten, delivered a scientific oration. In his speech, he encouraged STIF SYENTRA students to become individuals who are “sakti” — a term he used to describe those who possess valuable knowledge for the nation, are capable of occupying strategic positions, and can fill professional spaces through the educational processes they have undergone.
“Students of STIF SYENTRA truly dedicate themselves to learning and religious study. With strong determination and continuous effort, they are well-positioned to become excellent individuals in their respective fields,” he added.
The graduation moment also received various responses from the graduates. One of them was Fenti, a graduate from the Islamic Family Law (HKI) program and the best graduate of the cohort. She expressed her happiness and relief upon completing her studies.
“I hope everything I’ve planned and dreamed of will go smoothly in the future, and I also hope to continue my education,” said Fenti.
Another graduate, Winda from the Sharia Economic Law (HES) program, also shared her joy and expressed hope that the knowledge she gained would be beneficial.
“If you ask about my current goals, I guess it’s to get a job soon. Hopefully, I’ll find the best opportunity,” said Winda.
