a Brief History of the USNB
Syeikh Nawawi Banten University (USNB) was established in Banten as a transformation of the Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Fikih (STIF) Syentra, which had previously been inaugurated in 2016 and officially recognized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The university received its official operating license on December 12, 2023. USNB aims to educate a generation that deeply understands religion while mastering worldly sciences such as technology, economics, and agriculture—following the example of the great Banten scholar, Syeikh Nawawi al-Bantani.
